Game Of Logging Competitions

Game of Logging competitions are a fun way for participants to demonstrate their skills and compete for prizes.

Northeast Woodland Training sponsors a regional competition each year somewhere in Vermont. Professional Loggers and Forest Landowners compete in separate categories for cash prizes and personal protective equipment.

Pre-Registration Required by School

  • Tech School Students must have completed GOL Levels 1 – 2

Professional Loggers & Forest Landowners
Location will be emailed to all interested.

Pre-Registration Required

  • Professional Loggers must have completed GOL Levels 1 – 4
  • Forest Landowners must have completed GOL Levels 1 – 2
  • Past Regional Competition winners are ineligible for 2 years following their win
  • First & Second Place Winners of the Regional Professional Logger & Forest Landowner categories are eligible to compete in the Game of Logging National Competition held at the Pennsylvania Timber Show in Pennsylvania Furnace, PA 16865 – usually in June.
